I am passionate about the power of words. I love wordsmithing and using my grammatical gifts to help individuals
reach their potential and companies increase their profit. Be it
taking a website to the next level, creating a custom brochure or
coming up with eye-catching ad copy, words are my paintbrush. I'm
always looking for the next canvas.
I graduated from ASU in 2001 with a major in journalism and a double minor in creative writing and women's studies. I spent the next several years working as a magazine editor for McMurry, a marketing communications firm in Phoenix, and then as a web copywriter for US Airways.
In 2006, we had our first son, River. At that time, I decided to leave the traditional workforce to care for my baby and pursue my writing and editing career on my own terms. I've been freelance writing and editing ever since, with projects ranging from realtor brochures to online guitar retailer websites.
I live in Shawano, Wisc., with my wonderful husband, Jared and our two boys, River and Rainn. We attend Hope Community Church where Jared is the worship pastor. We also have a vizsla named Gatsby and a little tabby cat named Widget.
